Quaid, wife arraignment postponed

Actor Randy Quaid and his wife, Evi, are expected next week in a Santa Barbara courtroom.The couple is accused of skipping out on a $10,000 hotel bill at the exclusive San Ysidro ranch resort in Montecito. They were arrested in Texas last month.

Charges include defrauding an innkeeper, burglary, and conspiracy. An arraignment had been scheduled for Monday, but was postponed for one week.

The couple did not appear in court today.

Quaid won a Golden Globe award for his portrayal of President Lyndon Johnson in "LBJ: The Early Years."
