Thousands of breast cancer patients, survivors and their loved ones will gather at the Fresno State campus for the Susan G. Komen "Race for the Cure" this Saturday morning.

Preparations are underway for this weekend's annual "Central Valley Race for the Cure." Race organizers made a last call for runners yesterday.

Last year, thousands of men and women dressed in pink t-shirts for the event and lined the streets near Fresno State.

This year is shaping up to be another big race.

More than 6,500 people have already signed up to take part in Saturday's Susan G. Komen race. The race raises money to help find a cure for breast cancer.
