Fresno Unified Begins H1N1 Vaccine Administration

Fresno, CA On Sunday, officials administered the vaccine at a school festival on the Fresno High School campus. The district did not advertise the vaccine because they have a limited supply

Only children in the district between the ages of 2 and 9 could receive it. There was also information for parents who may be a little nervous about giving their kids the vaccine.

"If we have families that are a little bit nervous about getting it at least they can take the information and get the education about it and make a decision about it later on," said F.U.S.D. Nurse Practitioner Robyn Smith.

Fresno Unified plans to visit seven other sites over the next few weeks. They say they'll continue to offer the vaccine clinics until they run out.
