Visalia City Council Extends Moratorium on Medical-Marijuana

Visalia, California The City of Visalia also moved to extend a moratorium on medical marijuana dispensaries.

City council members voted Monday night to extend a 45-day ordinance that was passed last month. It stops the opening of any more pot dispensaries, collectives, or co-ops in Visalia.

The ten-month extension allows the city attorney time to review and possibly change Visalia's medical marijuana ordinance.
