Sheriff's investigators spent the day looking through a burned out home near the Kings and Fresno County line where human remains were found.
The investigation began Wednesday after the fire department was called out to the house for a fire in a shed. They discovered there were marijuana plants in the shed and then later, realized the homeowner had gone missing.
Kings County Sheriff Chris Jordan said, "We are currently sifting through a lot of evidence at the crime scene and at this point have not confirmed the remains are that of Lenoard Caetano but he's still unaccounted for."
It could take weeks to positively identify the remains, but the sheriff does believe the body is that of Leonard Caetano.
