Twilight "New Moon" Draws Big Fresno Crowds

Fresno, CA Organizer Kim Demeria said, "We picked Dicicco's Italian Restaurant because in the book Edward and Bella have their first date at an Italian Restaurant and she orders mushroom ravioli."

After dinner, it was a double feature. Most local theatres played the original Twilight movie at around nine. Then followed with showings of the latest installment, "New Moon" at midnight. Lines were long for the shows.

Many Moms and daughters, like Bobbie Garcia and her daughter Jessica of Fresno were waiting together and couldn't wait to see the show.

"Because it's amazing ... I saw the first one. The movies are great." Jessica said.

Bobbie added, "Well she got me into reading it it's just a really good book just kind of gets you going and of course you want to see the movie if it matches the book."

So, what's the big attraction that spans the generations ...

The answer from most of the women lined up at one Fresno theatre was the same, "Edward ... the vampire."

"Yes, because he's the perfect man." Said one woman.

The other big attraction for the ladies is "Jacob." He's a Werewolf, not a vampire.
