SoCal Police Look for Crying Bank Robber

The Ventura County Sheriff's Department says the robber walked into a Thousand Oaks bank on Monday. Bank security cameras caught the man on tape.

The robber then claimed himself as a former bank employee and told the teller the company owed him money.

"He demanded a specific amount, and then the teller gave him cash. They had a conversation. He said he had some medical problems, he was crying. Kind-of unusual circumstances for a bank robbery. And then he walked out with the cash," said Det. Eric Buschow with the Ventura County Sheriff's Department.

There were approximately 15 people inside the bank at the time. The suspect did not show off a weapon and nobody was injured during the heist.
