Police say the driver responsible for a car crash that killed three people Sunday night was speeding, may have been drunk at the time of the wreck, and wasn't supposed to be driving at all. The accident happened in Southeast Fresno at the intersection of Chestnut and Lane.

Investigators say the driver of an Oldsmobile was speeding when the car slammed into the center median, and then sideswiped a mustang.

Three people in the car were killed, including the driver.

Investigators say the driver had a suspended license because of a D.U.I. earlier this year. Two people survived the crash. They remain in the hospital with serious injuries.
