Stolen Christmas Decorations in Northwest Fresno

A Fresno homeowner hit by thieves Saturday night is asking for his Christmas decorations back. The man woke up to find three large inflatable characters gone, and his neighbors are victims, too. The neighborhood is located near Herndon and Brawley, in Northwest Fresno.

Only one blow up is left in front of Kevin Elledge's home Sunday, but it may be coming down soon out of fear that it will be stolen, too.

Elledge said a jack-in-the-box bear, a Tigger, and a Winnie the Pooh were all taken Saturday night.

"Iit was very disappointing to the neighborhood kids this morning when they got up and the decorations were gone and they actually realized that somebody had stolen them. It's very disappointing; it kind of puts a little damper on the Christmas and the Christmas spirit," said Ellegde.

Elledge said one neighbor is missing a large snowman and another had a snow globe stolen. He said he'd be willing to pay a reward for their return, no questions asked.
