Florida Pursuit Ends with Airborne Car

A high-speed pursuit turned into a mid-air crash in Florida, and the whole thing was caught on tape.Police near Gainesville, were chasing after this driver at speeds above 80-miles an hour.

All of a sudden, the driver swerved into a drainage canal, launching the car into the air.

The car struck power lines, and knocked over some large trees. The driver flew so far into the woods police had a hard time finding the car.

Utility crews were called out to restore power. The driver was hurt but is expected to recover.

Police say he was driving on a suspended license from a recent D.U.I.
