Table Mountain Buys Brighton Crest Golf Course

Fresno, California Details of the purchase-- including how much Table Mountain paid for the course-- were not released. However, officials said there are plans to make improvements to the property-- including building a new club house with a four star restaurant.

Jon Rieden with the Brighton Crest Homeowners Association said, "Once they've completed the new clubhouse, they will turn over the existing clubhouse to homeowners to use as a community center so they will have someplace to hold events ... win-win situation."

There are also possible plans to transform the course into a possible PGA Tournament venue in the future.

Brighton Crest will be closed for 30 days so officials can assess the grounds to see what needs to be improved.
