Airport officials told Action News the power outage did not affecting the runway lights or the tower operations. Airplanes were able to take-off and land.
A few outgoing flights were delayed and at least one flight was cancelled.
The airport normally relies on their backup generators for power in an outage, but they were not working.
The power outage at the airport was part of a larger power outage that affected about 15,000 PG&E customers from Dakota to Olive and Chestnut to Sunnyside.
