Morse claims police can't arrest him because he's within his right to sell medical marijuana, but a city ordinance makes it illegal and a judge found him in contempt of court.
The chief says he doesn't want the arrest to be a big scene.
"We're not going to allow this to become a circus and we'll arrest him just as we would with anyone else in our city, as discreetly as we possibly can," said Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer.
Chief Dyer says the warrant is not officially in their system yet, but it's just a matter of time.
