Early Stages of the 2010 AMGEN Tour Revealed

Fresno, CA Stages of last year's tour took some of the world's top cyclists through Clovis and the surrounding foothills.

Wednesday, organizers released the course for the first four stages:

• Stage one begins in the town of Nevada City and ends in Sacramento.



• Stage two starts just a few miles away in Davis and stretches 110 miles into Santa Rosa.



• Stage three goes from San Francisco down the coast to Santa Cruz.



• Stage four starts in San Jose, heads east, and ends in Modesto.



• Stage five of the race will begin in Visalia on May 20.
