Palin, who is probably the most well known teen mother in the U.S., will appear as a friend to the show's main character, Amy.
The show focuses heavily on how Amy's friends and family react to her unplanned pregnancy.
Bristol Palin was pregnant as her mother campaigned for vice president. She gave birth to her son, Tripp, in December 2008.
The network says the episode is scheduled to shoot and air this summer.
