United Black Men of Fresno holds leadership conference

FRESNO, Calif. "And now to look at where he is now. How he pays people over $200,000 a year. That is a huge accomplishment," a student said.

The event was hosted by the United Black Men of Fresno.

The morning began with panel of speakers that included local African American judges, educators and entertainers.

Students then broke into smaller groups to talk about what they had learned.

The goal is to help them overcome life challenges, prepare them for college and the future job market.
