USDA to Provide Aid to California Farmers

Some federal help is headed to California farmers affected by the water shortages.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture is providing ten million dollars to the farmers through its Environmental Quality Incentives Program.

Farmers who are interested in the assistance can begin registering for the funds through April 9th.

It's available for farmers in Fresno, Kings, Madera, Merced, Tulare, San Joaquin, and Stanislaus Counties.
