Community members say Donald Fisher was an active volunteer with several organizations, including the R.C. Baker Memorial Museum. "He used to come down and volunteer his time and his energy. He was cleaning and helping and doing whatever he could because he was so passionate about the museum," said museum curator Stephanie McHaney.
The California Highway Patrol says the driver of the other vehicle, 32-year-old Manuel Casillas, will face criminal charges related to the crash. At this point in the investigation, it's unknown whether those charges will be misdemeanor or felony.
