Two in serious condition after Fresno Nightclub Shooting

FRESNO, Calif. The entire complex at Palm and Nees was a crime scene early Friday morning. Police had it all taped off. Some of the cars were apparently damaged by bullets during the shooting.

It happened just before 1 a.m. Friday morning. Police say the two men in their 20s were in the parking lot when shots were fired after some type of disturbance.

Police spent most of the night interviewing witnesses outside the club and searching the parking lot for evidence. Police say they don't have any suspects in custody or motive for the shooting.

There's been violence outside ROE before. Last November police said a man had been at the nightclub when he got in a fight with a group of men and was stabbed in the parking lot.

Police say the man tried to get away in his car, but the group followed him. The man crashed into a tree near the Wal-Mart store on Ingram. Police say the men beat him then took off.

In 2008 the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board filed a complaint against "ROE" citing an increase in violence. The owner fought the charges, and stayed open -- saying he increased security -- hiring off duty Fresno Police officers to stop the problems.
