This mangled wreckage is all that's left of a pickup truck that collided with a big rig.
The C.H.P. says the pickup travelling south on Cornelia blew through a stop sign and collided with the big rig.
The two people in the pickup died at the scene. The cab of the big rig was destroyed, but the driver did survive and is being treated for moderate injuries.
