Authorities believe the same pair robbed another shop in Winton last week. "Same method, two guys come in, faces covered up, brandishing handguns, demanding cash. They can tell from the surveillance footage from both incidents that detectives believe it's the same two suspects," said Tom MacKenzie with the Merced County Sheriff's Department.
The similarities don't end there. If you look closely at surveillance footage, it also appears one suspect wore the same outfit during both robberies.
Family members of the man shot Monday were too shaken up to talk on camera, but said they had just upgraded their surveillance system two weeks ago. Now, they're hoping the cameras will lead to arrests.
