Researchers from the University of Alabama-Birmingham say of 11-thousand men over age 40, those who took Viagra or similar drugs were twice as likely to report hearing loss.
The findings suggest current government warnings on hearing loss and the use of these types of drugs is warranted.
In 2007, the Food and Drug Administration announced labeling changes. The risk of hearing problems is now more prominently displayed.
