Madera Police say 34-year-old Jeronimo Ramirez killed his roommates late last week. Detectives say Ramirez mutilated his victims.
Documents obtained by Action News indicate a grape knife was used in the killings. People who live inside the home say the three men all stayed in a converted garage for the past six months.
Detectives believe the motive came from some kind of feud that started outside of the country.
Sgt. Robert Salas said, "Some sort of dispute occurred. Our investigation reveals that the dispute may have stemmed from Mexico and was carried on here in the United States."
Ramirez faces two counts of murder. His bail is set at two million dollars.
