It happened just before midnight on Dickenson Avenue near Central Avenue southwest of Fresno. The owner of the home was caught by surprise when he walked inside to find three armed robbers with guns.
Fresno County Sheriff Deputies say the home invasion happened around 11:30 Tuesday night. Three armed suspect forced their way into the victims home while he was outside attending to his cattle. When he returned, the homeowner was held at gunpoint, and assaulted.
Deputies say suspects ransacked the home looking for valuables and then took off.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call the Fresno County Sheriff's Office at 488-3111.
