Swift water rescue teams found the woman's body before 7:00 p.m. Monday night. Officials say the woman fell into the rapids near Wagner's General Store Monday afternoon. The woman was visiting friends at the time. Her identity has not been released.
This is the second time in the last month a person has fallen into Mammoth Pool. A man was swept under the swift current while trying to rescue his puppy three weeks ago. His body was not found.
