Madera County Search and Rescue officials say Stephanie Coyle of Tucson, Arizona died after falling into the rapids.
This is a picture sent in from rescue crews showing the treacherous area where the 20-year-old was swept away. Crews found her body Monday night.
Officials say the search to find the body of a Santa Maria man in the Mammoth Pool Reservoir continues. He was swept under the swift current while trying to rescue his puppy three weeks ago.
Crews say the recovery operation will resume when conditions are more manageable.
