FYI gives Mexicana Airlines 90 days to turn things around

FYI's director of aviation says there is enough money in their reserve funds to last them until the end of this fiscal year. But they're not waiting that long to figure out a long term solution. The airport says it has already been in talks with other potential Mexican-based carriers to fly out of Fresno. Mexicana however would still be their number one choice.

Mexicana on Monday suspended thirteen flights around the world including one in Fresno. The struggling company was forced to file for bankruptcy protection on august second after labor negotiations stalled over the summer.
