Clovis murder-suicide memorial

CLOVIS, Calif.

25-year-old Graciela Rodriguez and Hugo Anzaldo were found dead early Tuesday morning. Police say Anzaldo killed Rodriguez, and then killed himself.

Four candles now sit on the apartment's front porch, beneath the crime scene tape. Officers found a shotgun they say was used in the shooting.

The couple was engaged, and had three young daughters who were not home at the time. Police say Rodriguez and Anzaldo were arguing before the shooting. "There was a lot of arguing going on, on and off throughout the day apparently yesterday escalating in the evening hours and this was the result," said Janet Stoll-Lee with the Clovis Police Department.

Neighbor Sylvia Calderon: "It's pretty shocking. It's out of character. They seemed very happy."

The couple's children are now staying with their grandmother.
