Construction at ACEL Charter School continues. Major projects like plumbing, painting and electrical work are finished, but flooring and carpeting must still be installed. Because of construction, charter school officials won't be able to move in until the end of next week.
The principal says the school hasn't run into any problems which would keep it from opening on time.
ACEL Charter School is scheduled to open on August 30th -- two weeks after Fresno Unified students begin school.
Trustees are expected to vote on the charter's new location on the 25th.
