Doctors performed surgery on Zsa Zsa Gabor Friday and successfully removed a blood clot, according to Blanchette.
Gabor, 93, will remain in Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center for a few more days, according to the publicist.
Blanchette said an ambulance was summoned to Gabor's home to take her to an emergency room earlier Friday.
Blanchette, who was in touch with Gabor's husband, Frederic von Anhalt, by telephone, says Gabor was in great pain and was bleeding from the hip.
Gabor, 93, broke her hip July 17 when she fell from her bed trying to answer a telephone, according to von Anhalt.
The actress underwent hip-replacement surgery two days after her fall. After some setbacks, Gabor was sent home from the /*UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center*/ on Wednesday.
/*Gabor*/ appeared in several films and television shows in the 1950s and 1960s, but has been confined to a wheelchair since being involved in a 2002 car crash. She also suffered a stroke in 2005.
The Hungarian-born actress is the last of three Gabor sisters.
