Fresno Police say a man pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money. The robber then took off in a car with another suspect driving.
That green Dodge Neon was later found just a couple blocks away at Yale and Fruit.
Investigators are still searching for the suspects, but they say fortunately the clerk was not injured.
"We're extremely grateful that the clerk was cooperative with the robber... no injuries whatsoever," Lt. Burke Farrah said.
Police are now searching the get-away car for evidence in the robbery.
