Selma Police Officer arrested on child porn charges

FRESNO, Calif.

Federal agents revealed what they found inside the home of Selma Officer Angel Landin. Sexual videos and pictures of children as young as kindergarten age were found on a desktop computer in the master bedroom of the home, Landin said he primarily used.

The criminal complaint says: "Landin also admitted to specifically searching LimeWire for files relating to incest and the internet to obtain incest stories."

According to court records, Landin and his wife have three children who live with them.

ABC30 Legal Analyst Tony Capozzi says prosecutors have a strong case. "The government has gone in on a search warrant and seized the computers, seized the hard drives and what they found is clear evidence of child pornography on the computer. It will be very difficult for the defense in this case to go to trial."

Landin was arrested at Selma Police Headquarters Thursday morning, it's the same place agents interviewed him in August. During questioning, he also told investigators he is aroused by reading stories that display father-daughter involvement.

Court records also show: "A total of 8 child pornography videos were discovered with an approximate length of 33 minutes and 7 seconds."

Action News did talk with Angel Landin's wife Thursday afternoon at their home. She didn't want to comment on camera. She was very upset. Landin pleaded not guilty to the charges. He will appear in federal court Friday for a bail hearing.
