35-firefighters responded to the fire at Hamilton and Chance around 4:30. Investigators say it was caused by a child playing with a lighter near some bedding, which then caught the rest of the apartment on fire.
One bedroom was destroyed. Luckily, everyone made it out okay. Damage to the apartment is estimated at $17,000.
