Police found the wounded victim at an apartment complex on B Street near Clinton Thursday night.
Neighbors tended to the victim until emergency crews and police could arrive. The victim gave officers a description of the suspect. They found 37-year-old Oscar Orrozco about a mile away.
Officers found the knife underneath a dumpster. They say Orrozco stabbed the victim outside a café on C and Clinton Streets, which is roughly two blocks from the apartment complex.
The victim is in his early 40's and is listed in stable condition at Community Regional Medical Center.
