Police say a woman flagged down an officer outside an apartment complex on Marks and Dakota just before midnight on Thursday. The woman told an officer someone in her family stabbed her.
Police found the family member in a nearby apartment complex. Police say she is cooperating with their investigation.
The relationship between the victim and the suspect isn't known at this time. An ambulance took the victim to Community Regional Medical Center in downtown Fresno where she is in stable condition.
