Action News arrived on the scene just minutes after the shooting around 7:00 p.m. Tuesday night.
Emergency crews worked on the victim as they rushed him to Community Regional Medical Center where he later died.
Investigators say a car pulled up to a home on Klette and a dispute took place between those inside the car and the victim when shots were fired. Meanwhile the suspects are still on the loose.
Lt. Jon Papaleo said, "We're getting some sketchy descriptions. We do have witnesses downtown who are giving us information. We really don't have anything except maybe a dark vehicle at this time."
This is Fresno's 38th homicide so far this year. Investigators are not calling this a gang-related incident.
