The 54-year-old host of the Emmy-winning 1990s TV show "Bill Nye the Science Guy" apparently fainted on stage Tuesday night.
Campus safety officers and paramedics responded, but it's unclear if Nye was treated.
A student witness said that Nye collapsed in mid-sentence at the podium. About 10 seconds later, Nye apparently regained consciousness and asked the audience how long he was out.
Nye also told the audience that he experienced a similar incident earlier that same day.
