Bulldog fans brave the rainy weather

FRESNO, Calif.

But, we find some fans who braved the cold for the second to last home game of the season.

For Molly Mandal of Clovis and her friends, tailgating before a bulldog football game is tradition. Saturday night they continued their home game regimen.

But, this time, they brought along a heater and layers of warm clothes. "We brought gloves and blankets, and gonna stay cozy and hopefully we're gonna get a win."

The parking lots surrounding Fresno State looked much like the inside of bulldog stadium….empty.

On ABC30's Facebook page, fans wrote they stayed home because of a mid morning storm, which brought rain to the valley and snow up in the mountains.

This video was taken Saturday afternoon from ABC30's Sierra Sky Cam.

Still despite the cold blast, these fans say the chilly weather can't shake their Bulldog fever.

"You know, you gotta come out and support the team and support the school and support everything," Robert Lee of Fresno said.

The Bulldogs play at home again next Friday.
