Help reaches cargo ship adrift off Alaska

ANCHORAGE, Alaska Engine problems caused the Golden Seas to drift in strong winds and rough waters near the remote Aleutian Islands.

The 20-member crew on the ship was able to use the motor's limited power to steer away from land overnight, reducing fears the ship would run aground.

The ship is carrying thousands of gallons of fuel oil and a load of canola seed.
