Firefighters save toddler from toy machine

ROBINSON TOWNSHIP, Pa. The two-year-old girl crawled into the machine at a mall in the Pittsburg area Thursday and couldn't get herself out.

The girl's mother said she looked away for a second and the next thing she knew, the girl was inside the machine.

Firefighters were called to help rescue the girl in 15 minutes.

"We walked in, and in this machine there was the cutest little girl in a pink outfit sucking a binky, that you ever seen, sitting right inside with the other toys in the toy machine," said Moon Run Fire Dept. Chief Paul Kashmer.

They said after she was freed, the little girl took her pacifier out of her mouth and said thank you.

The toy vendor removed the machine from the mall following the incident.
