United Way flash mob at Sierra Vista Mall

CLOVIS, Calif.

About a hundred volunteers from United Way of Fresno County wore matching t-shirts as they clapped their hands and joined together in dance.

The "flash mob" was an effort to surprise shoppers and raise awareness about the organization which brings people and resources together to address issues within the community.

"Basically we're just getting 100 people together to promoted United Way and bring attention to people living united and working together in our community," said Sue Smilie Janecek with San Joaquin Valley College.

After their quick performance, members of the crowd dispersed and continued on their way.
