Police tried to pull over a car near the fairgrounds -- but then, the driver took off. The car crashed into another vehicle just down the street.

Two passengers in the car were taken into custody, on drug and weapons charges. The driver ran into a nearby house. Police eventually shot him with a beanbag gun to get him to surrender. He's been identified as 31-year-old Shane Stone. The passengers are Anthony Murillo and Melissa Reyes.

All three suspects are believed to be Bulldog Gang members.

Fresno Police officers arrested three suspects who they say are validated gang members. Officers noticed the driver and thought he might be involved with a home invasion robbery in Fresno. Turns out the driver was not connected to that crime. Investigators say once he saw officers behind him he tried to get away. The car hit a vehicle at the intersection of Maple and Butler.

The driver then crashed into another vehicle a block up the street at Maple and Liberty. Officers arrested one male and one female suspect at the scene. They recovered a handgun, drugs and stolen property. The driver tried to leave the scene and was found by officers another block north on Maple and Lowe.

Investigators say he reached for what looked like a weapon so they fired off four non-lethal rounds of bean bags at the suspect. He was placed into handcuffs and taken into custody. Officers say the two male suspects have outstanding felony warrants against them.
