Sandra Arreola is believed to have taken more than two million dollars from the Visalia First Assembly Church. She worked as the church bookkeeper for nearly twelve years.

Arreola resigned after an audit showed discrepancies in church collections. Police say she spent the money on businesses, property, and friends.

The church recovered half a million dollars from insurance. Arreola faces embezzlement and money laundering charges.
