"Raggedy Ann and Andy" returned to Christmas Tree Lane

FRESNO, Calif.

The doll was located near some railroad tracks in the area of Sierra and Cecelia by residents of the area. Thursday morning, the resident contacted the Sheriff's Office after seeing the local media stories regarding the dolls having been stolen.

The doll was turned over to Sheriff's deputies earlier Thursday evening and immediately returned to the owners.

The doll, along with another "Raggedy Andy" doll, had been reported stolen from the display late Saturday evening or early Sunday morning. The "Raggedy Andy" doll was located and returned Wednesday.

The display on Christmas Tree Lane, which was taken down after the theft, has been put back up for members of the public to enjoy.
