China Peak snowboarders' body officially identified

Peter "Eli" Shelby, 29, disappeared Monday during a snowboarding trip at China Peak.

On Tuesday - search and rescue crews found a body at the resort in an area of deep powder near an intermediate ski run.

China Peak officials told Action News the body was Shelby's but the Associated Press reported Thursday morning the coroner's office didn't ID the body until Wednesday.
