Driver killed in car accident in Lindsay

The accident happened in Lindsay on Foothill Ave. at Hickory Street just after 6 a.m.

Highway Partrol Officers say the driver of a small car traveling eastbound on Hickory pulled out suddenly in front of a pickup truck traveling southbound on Foothill.

The driver of the car was killed from the impact. The driver of the truck was treated at a hospital for minor injuries.

The CHP says weather was not a factor in the accident.
