The retail giant's Facebook campaign ended last Friday, and the vote tally is being released Wednesday at noon.

At noon on Wednesday we know whether Fresno came out big -- or really big -- in an online fight against hunger. Wal-Mart will announce which city won the $1-million grand prize and the five runners up that will get a $100,000 each.

The retail giant held a campaign on Facebook, to see which cities earned the most "likes" or votes. Fresno came in second with a million votes less than Salt Lake City, but the official tally is still unknown because Wal-Mart said it was working with Facebook to make sure each person was limited to just three votes.

The Valley's Community Food Bank says they're happy regardless of how much Fresno wins. Food bank C.E.O. Andy Souza says they can stretch one dollar to buy eight dollars worth of food. So the million dollar grand prize would help feed 250,000 needy people for at least two months.

We'll post that update as soon as it comes down on our Facebook, Twitter pages, and on ABC30.com.
