A man suspected of being the "dapper bandit" pleaded not guilty this week to charges he robbed a San Diego County bank and a check-cashing store.John Martinez, 41, Fresno, was arrested as he returned to the U.S. from Mexico on New Year's Eve.
He is suspected of four other robberies, including one in Agoura Hills and one in Thousand Oaks.
He was given the nickname the "dapper bandit" because he was seen in surveillance photos wearing a suit jacket and a hat.
Similar clothing was found in Martinez's car.
