Man cut in Southwest Fresno attempted robbery

Police say two people approached a man in an alley near Fresno St. and Pottle and demanded money. They then struck the man, sending him to the ground.

Police say after trying to rob the victim, the man suffered a severe cut to the face. Sunday night, he's in stable condition and is expected to survive.
