It happened just before midnight on Saturday on south Maple near Florence. Officers went to the Orchard Square apartment complex after reports of gunfire in the area.
When they arrived, they found a man who'd been shot.
He was taken to a nearby hospital where he's recovering.
Authorities are still looking for the suspects and have not determined if the shooting was gang related.
